Centre for Family Health Initiative (CFHI) commemorated World Aids Day 2020 at Mabushi-Abuja and at Mission Junction, Emekuku, Imo state by carrying out HIV/AIDS community sensitization, counselling and testing, with over 200 people knowing their status through the simple saliva-based testing.
The World AIDS Day is a day established to provide “Education and create awareness together with sensitization on HIV and AIDS” . This year’s theme is “Solidarity Shared Responsibility”. CFHI staff were at Mabushi chief palace to commemorate the day together with the entire community present.
