NIGeria youth futures fund (NYFF) Project
The Nigeria Youth Futures Fund (NYFF) is a program funded by MacArthur Foundation, Ford Foundation and implemented by LEAP Africa to support and strengthen young Nigerians for youth leadership, activism, and social change. The project goal was to create awareness and strengthen the prevention and treatment of drug and substance abuse among young people in Bwari LGA, FCT, Abuja.
Micro Credit Social Entrepreneurship Program (MISCEP)
Global Philanthropy Alliance (GPA) provided a $5000 grant to the Centre For Family Health Initiaive to sponsor a Micro-Credit Social Entrepreneurship Program (MISCEP) in July, 2015. The center worked with local organizations to identify 44 youth to participate in entrepreneurship training.
Catalyzing Accountability for Maternal Death in Nigeria (CAMDIN)
The aim of the Catalysing Accountability for Maternal Deaths program of the Giving Birth in Nigeria campaign was to develop, test and implement novel approaches that incorporated community voice in maternal death reporting and surveillance, with a view toward making all maternal deaths count.

In 2015, CFHI became a sub-recipient under the CDC-funded PEPFAR SUSTAIN Project through CCFN, implementing community-based HIV Testing and Counselling (HTC) in Bwari Area Council, FCT. Using its innovative door-to-door approach, CFHI conducted HIV testing, community mobilization, referral and linkage to care, while also providing basic health services such as blood pressure and BMI checks to enhance community participation.

CFHI has through the Positive Action for Children Fund (PACF) funded HAPPY! Project executed extensive work on: breaking the silence around HIV/STI; addressing key barriers to accessing HIV/PMTCT prevention services; increase demand for HIV Testing & Counselling and male involvement in Ante-Natal Care.
WYNE PROJECT

CFHI implemented a US Consulate General Small Grant project to reduce gender discrimination and poverty among women and youth in Ngor Okpala, Imo State, through advocacy, community engagement, and empowerment initiatives targeting harmful practices such as Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and harmful widowhood practices.

The aim of the catalysing accountability for maternal deaths programme of the Giving Birth in Nigeria campaign was to develop, test and implement novel approaches that incorporated community voice in maternal death reporting and surveillance, with a view toward making all maternal deaths count. Building on current MPDSR efforts, this system has fed into broader efforts to raise awareness about why women are dying in communities and promote accountability for capturing the deaths and addressing their underlying causes.

CFHI signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) to conduct an endline assessment of the National Logistics Management Information System (NLMIS) and Asset Management System (AMS) tools in three project states. The assessment evaluated the utilization, effectiveness, and impact of the tools on stock and inventory management, data-driven decision-making, and operational capacity among State and Local Government Area Cold Chain Officers. .

CFHI signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) to Implement Vaccine Accountability Training for Health Workers and EPI Managers in Nasarawa State. The training sought to bridge the capacity gap in HCWs and EPI managers which have led to poor immunization data review system and accountability performances. The goal of the project was to build the capacity of Healthcare Workers (HCWs) and Expanded Program Immunization (EPI) managers in documentation, management and review of stock and immunization data towards an improved vaccine accountability system.

CFHI signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) to Implement Technical and Managerial Capacity Building Trainings for Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) Managers in Kano State Primary Health Care Development Agency (SPHCDA). The training sought to bridge the capacity gap in healthcare workers which have led to poor immunization performances. The goal of the assignment was to build the capacity of SPHCDA to be able to manage and conduct immunization activities towards an improved RI program performance.
