Improving Maternal and Child Health through Capacity Building and Community Awareness Approach  (CCAP)

The goal of CCAP is to reduce the proportion of women and their new-born without basic and emergency care by skilled birth attendants in Imo State through;

• Providing capacity building training for 150 unskilled community birth attendants on Basic Maternal Health Care, Documentation and Effective Referral System.
• Reaching 500 women of reproductive age (15-49years) with awareness/sensitization campaign on quality maternal and child healthcare.
