OUR FOCUS

The Centre for Family Health Initiative (CFHI) is a non-political, non-religious, not-for-profit organization committed to promoting the health and well-being of families across Africa (CAC/IT/No. 49787).

Guided by its vision of Healthy Families; Healthy Societies, CFHI works to build safe, inclusive, and resilient communities through community-driven, family-centered health interventions, sustainable socio-economic empowerment, research, and policy engagement. CFHI holds Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and is registered with relevant ministries, departments, and agencies of the Government of Nigeria.

With experience across all geopolitical zones of Nigeria, CFHI delivers integrated programmes in maternal, newborn and child health; family planning; adolescent health; HIV and TB services; Polio services; water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH); gender equality and women’s empowerment; and health systems strengthening. The organization also strengthens communities through capacity building, community engagement, and monitoring, evaluation, and learning to ensure sustainable impact.
