The Centre for Family Health Initiative (CFHI) participated in a one-day coordination meeting of the Technical Working Group (TWG) of the Service Providers Accountability Resource Committee (SPARC), organised by the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) at the NAPTIP Training Resource Centre, Federal Secretariat, Abuja. The meeting focused on reviewing the 2025 Violence Against Persons Prohibition (VAPP) Annual Implementation Report.
The meeting brought stakeholders together to review the draft report, validate submitted information, and provide inputs to ensure that the final report accurately reflects activities, interventions, achievements, challenges, and emerging issues relating to the implementation of the Violence Against Persons (Prohibition) Act, 2015.
The engagement also provided an opportunity for stakeholders to exchange perspectives, strengthen coordination, and support collective efforts to prevent and respond to violence against persons. Through its participation, CFHI continues to collaborate with relevant government agencies and partners to advance protection, accountability, and coordinated responses to gender-based violence and other forms of violence against persons.
